STORM DEBRIS PICKUP UPDATE FOR RUTHERFORD COUNTY on FB:

Rutherford County, in coordination with NC Emergency Mgt, NCDOT, & local towns, will begin storm debris pickup on state-maintained & municipally controlled roads starting OCT 21st. Debris will be taken to the County Landfill.

Start Date: Pickup begins no earlier than OCT 21st. The schedule will be posted.

Placement: Place storm-related vegetative debris (trees, limbs) within the road's right-of-way.

Avoid Obstructions: Do not block access to utility meters, fire hydrants, driveways, or storm drains & do not place the debris in the road or street. Leave debris loose—no bags.
