  9. No Club Running Club pop up open 10:00-18:00hrs today Saturday and Sunday (Great North Run) only.

    Today Saturday, together with Deep North Fuelled By Doughnuts Run Club and Wild Wellness, there will be a 5k run around Ouseburn commencing from BottleWorks at 14:00hrs. Free doughnuts in the pop-up space afterwards while stocks last.

    GNR medalists can claim a free drink after the run on Sunday while stocks last.

  11. Went for my #run this evening. It was meant to be 10 laps around the local park, but I miscounted to the extent that I did 13(!) instead.

    I'd like to claim it was because I was totally in the zone, eye of the tiger and all that, but the reality is I'm so distracted by various life stresses at the moment that I can't count to 10 and run at the same time.

    At least I over-counted, not under-counted, and my fitness is enough that I didn't notice the difference. 'Spose that's something.
