Monday-running-club-day! It was really hot so after strength training and run-schooling the trainer promised us short intervals. From start/finish we ran (not to fast) for 45 seconds. At the point where you ended up after 45 sec everyone had to drop their own marker (for me that was around 125m). And then return in 90 seconds. Then the start line was recessed by 10 meter and again you had 45 sec to reach your marker and 90 sec to return. And again the start line was recessed 10m.... So each round the distance grew while the time remained the same...🥵
We did 7 rounds.

It was a nice cool evening to run around at @tanglewood_nature_center And always a good time at a @southerntierrunningclub group run.

#ScottieNelson finishes #US #Olympic #marathon #trial, a milestone for world’s biggest #gay #runningclub.

Nelson ran his first marathon in October. He talks to #Outsports about the need for #LGBTQ #visibility in the #sport, and the support of #FrontRunners #NewYork.

Optimal size for #runningclub is 8-9 people and no one agree on if a group should charge membership fees

Blustery and damp outing around the streets of Gateshead tonight. 10km in total, 124m climbing.

Sometimes I just want a flat run, but I'm never going to get that here!

No, YOU'VE just run up and down the same road on the industrial estate in the freezing cold and dark for 40 minutes at speeds which are clearly ridiculous for your age.
