One thing that I've noticed about Rune Factory 5 is the fact the design team seems to have...Very specific interests, that I don't share. Some of the women in this game are breasting boobily in a way that is borderline deranged, like if they were real women their backs would break. Like, "breast reduction realness" is not a good aesthetic to chase. ROFL
Another trend, they also seem to like younger twinks and buff/chubby older men designs (that are far more believable). It's interesting that the design language of this game is so...Mixed and split firmly down the middle in terms of character design.
With a few outliers like the fem flat-chested ladies, who are serving "tomboy" or "pretty lady" looks.

I was surprised but Rune Factory 5 runs smoothly on my PC vs The Switch. I assumed that Marvelous would've dropped the ball with the PC platform too. As the performance post launch for Rune Factory 5 on the Switch was abysmal and worse there were strange bugs when it came to friendship and love related events.
One character in particular (the most cursed character in the WHOLE ASS RUNE FACTORY SERIES BY FAR) literally causes issues at times.
Taking up the cap for shown/queued events, making my milquetoast blacksmith unable to be romanced readily. You can tell my expectations were low, but I was surprised that my experience was really smooth. Buying this game while it was on a deep sale was the best move ever.
The frame rate is great and no little issues with latency and frame skips. I might actually finish this game, which while the story is mid and characters mostly either fun, boring, or notably unhinged...The gameplay is fun.

I played enough #RuneFactory5 today to get to the point where I can keep giving Martin Gifts until the special Date Events! Initially, I was worried about not being able to marry that man...However, the game allowed me to proceed after enduring events from other characters. That's poor game design, no character's romance should be blocked from progressing in that manner. I might play Pioneers of Olive Town as a palette cleanser, so when the time comes...I can finish Rune Factory 5.

Before I went to bed, I played #RuneFactory5 for an hour...It was a chaotic ride. A random typhoon threatened my crops (NPCs will warn you up to three days before normally). An emergency shop upgrade saved my bacon by allowing me to buy Wettable Powder to protect my fruit trees. Martin's next cutscene became available after seeing one I didn't care for. I'm trapped in a Romance Event with a naïve princess. I leveled up a bunch of weapon skills and my respective crafting skills.
