This second image is a cropped version of the one above. You can see the #stamens covered in yellow #pollen well. Instead of putting the centre of the flower in the centre of the image, I’ve used the #RuleOfThirds to try to make it a bit more interesting, which has the added benefit of being able to fit an entire petal into the frame.

2023 Challenge: Going to try to post a pic a day. No particular order or theme.

Last Summer I practiced Rule of Thirds on my flowers for my intro class. This was a fun challenge spot the subject, sneak up on it, dial in the settings for the shot, manually focus, then take the shot.Things I would improve is pay attention to the background. Instead of manual use one of the other priority modes.
