Last year we've put our garden shed on slow travel platform Welcome to my Garden. Since then lots of back- and bikepackers dropped by for a night in our garden. Nice people with interesting stories.

I was in Stockholm, home of the Stockholm Resilience Centre, one of the world’s most important scientific institutes. As the holidays in Sweden starts after the summer solstice, I wasn’t able to make an appointment. But I cycled over to the university in the hope of getting a photo. @SimonCHulse these are two Hase Kettwiesel trikes. From the last one, the front wheel is removed and with some clever attachment the front of the trike is now attached to the rear of the other. This is standard for this trike. You can add as many trike as you want.

The image at dawn/dusk and night is very good.I can see what goes on behind me in the small monitor right in front of my head inside the racing hood. The view is 150degrees, so I can even see traffic that would normally be in the blind spot of the mirrors. There is a second camera facing the front. Both views are stored on a SD-card that continually records. #dashcam_videos

Doing with the #KMX #recumbent #trike what it was built for (KMX stands for Kart #BMX): Doing silly and fun things like #drifting and #powerslide|s. And tipping over when the #slowmotion finally worked.

So here you see me in slow motion proving that you really can tip over a low tadpole style recumbent trike, even with less friction having knobby MTB tires on tarmac. 🤪
