Maaaan I took this doggo out on the longboard last weekend and now he’s bugging me every afternoon to take him again. I ignored him yesterday and he got some out of control zoomies for a bit.
I gave in today and I think this is the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time. -

Mother’s Day at the Bayport estate was all about the honey-do list, among other things replacing a bad power steering pump and flush on her car. My supervisor Ruffers here didn’t think I could do it, but I got it done nonetheless. She’s worth it.

Wow it’s such a beautiful crisp winter day out today. I finally made time to replace that pesky canister purge valve in the car and my supervisor here is all like, yea I’m just gonna layout here in the sunshine and get all over exposed in your pic

OhMyGerd back in the summer of 2020, Ruffers and I got to being best friends. But at some point I inadvertently trained him to whine obnoxiously when I’m at the dinner table and it #DrivesMeCrazy
I don’t know how to get him to stop 😖 -
Finally got some long overdue maintenance on the dishwasher done. Replaced the lower door seal & general cleaning of the spinny arm ports. My partner had started threatening me with getting an entire new washer this year and I was like wot!?!? 💸
I got it back into like-new shape for $42 and a jawbreaker, but it got a little dicey getting it all back together… my foreman here didn’t think I was gonna be able to do it. But I did it.

We got out after the rain in the early evening and got to see the fog forming over the lake at twilight.

@thewritertype for me it’s funny because it’s totally true, I fought a cancer battle this year and came out ahead. I’m convinced that epic naps were a significant force in my arsenal complementing the chemo. Along with my sidekick Ruffers. People would call to check in on me and I would reply “meh I’m just laying around here on the couch fighting cancer” 🥲
