Two months in #NYC without a #COVID death! The slight uptick in #COVID19 cases continues, along with an uptick in #RSV cases, but #flu cases continue to drop.
We're still talking very small numbers - 47 COVID cases, 33 #influenza cases, 10 #RSVIrus cases - but we should monitor those.
I thought I remember there was a summer wave that started with people staying inside to avoid the "orange air" in June 2023 (the worst day was June 7), but the data is showing that it started in late July.

75 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗯𝘆'𝘀 𝗼𝗽 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗦-𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀
Er liggen deze herfst en winter fors minder baby's op de kinder-ic's. Dat komt volgens het RIVM doordat ongeveer driekwart van de baby's de afgelopen maanden een prik kreeg tegen het RS-virus. Die is sinds september 2025 onderdeel van het Rijksvaccinatieprogramma.
