Nintendo's RSS feeds across regions
Thanks to a comment in the Datahoarder community, I learned the UK site has a #RSS feed, so curious, I tried to dig if other regions also have.
First, the sites from #Nintendo I found that do have #RSSfeeds:
- Austria (German): https://www.nintendo.com/de-at/news.xml
- Belgium (Dutch): https://www.nintendo.com/nl-be/news.xml
- Belgium (French): https://www.nintendo.com/fr-be/news.xml
- France: https://www.nintendo.com/fr-fr/news.xml
- Germany: https://www.nintendo.com/de-de/news.xml
- Italy: https://www.nintendo.com/it-it/news.xml
- Japan: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/news/whatsnew.xml
- Netherlands: https://www.nintendo.com/nl-nl/news.xml
- Portugal: https://www.nintendo.com/pt-pt/news.xml
- Spain: https://www.nintendo.com/es-es/news.xml
- Switzerland (French): https://www.nintendo.com/fr-ch/news.xml
- Switzerland (German): https://www.nintendo.com/de-ch/news.xml
- Switzerland (Italian): https://www.nintendo.com/it-ch/news.xml
And also UK from the comment:
Also found an old article on the Wayback Machine mentioning a feed for the US site, the latest working snapshot being from 2007, but the links mentioned have since been discontinued:
None of the other regional variants seem to have feeds, though.
Also I think I'll have to create a new group in the list of feeds I know. That's more variants than Steam's. 🥲

TechCrunch: Feedly attributes weeklong slowdown to bug, not its AI pivot. “Bad news for those who get their updates through RSS feeds: Feedly, the largest stand-alone RSS reader worldwide, has experienced technical issues for over a week, and paying users are upset that the web app has been ‘unusably slow.’ Some users have also reported that the company has ignored their support requests. Ah, yes, the pinnacle of technological regression: turning your cutting-edge RSS feeds into a quaint e-ink newspaper to avoid the horrors of a smartphone screen 🤦♂️. Because who doesn't want to squint at a 4.3-inch display like it's 2002 all over again? 📜📱

LRG store Atom feeds
All of their
https://limitedrungames.com/collections/*pages (*being a wildcard), the subsections of their catalogues, have these feeds, though only for the base links, not for when they have feeds applied. For example:
Adding to the feeds I know of next.

Small update about Ci-en's RSS feeds: indeed discontinued and not being reinstated at least at this time
I had asked them through the #Cien Help page if they would, and they both confirmed in the response email that their #RSSfeeds had indeed been discontinued and that they would forward to the relevant department for considering for their future planning.
Additionally, I'd attach the whole email but from a quick search, apparently Japanese copyright laws can be so bad even support emails fall under it, even if one was to use it for journalistic purposes. 🙂

Kickstarter has Atom feeds for project updates!
Noticed by the notification of RSSHub Radar and will be adding to the feeds list I keep, but mentioning so it's a bit easier for others to find...
#Kickstarter #RSSfeeds #RSS #Atom
You pick a project, e.g. Mariachi Legends, and add
/posts.atomat the end, or click the updates tab (even if you're at the tab already) and add.atomat the end, in either cases becominghttps://www.kickstarter.com/projects/halberdstudios/mariachi-legends-a-combat-oriented-metroidvania/posts.atom. -

GBAtemp's RSS feeds seem to push posts whenever they get new replies
Testing around with the forum's multiple #rssfeeds, I couldn't help but to notice how older posts, and even a same post multiple times, would appear as I opened posts en masse from newer to older.
After investigating these posts as they popped up, the dates of the newest comments were all within the time frames of the posts I'd been opening with my reader. So as mentioned in the title, it would seem the feeds are picking posts by the ones most recently commented on.
Could be a bit spammy if one's just looking for new posts, but if interested also in following discussions of the posts, it could turn useful instead. Though for that use, RSS per post similar to NodeBB would be better imo.

Coywolf: You can now chat using RSS. “Dave Winer, the person who made Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0) the standard for following blogs in feed readers, asked whether RSS could be used for online chat, and quickly concluded that it could. … The rss.chat site shows public chats using the new approach that look similar to social media posts and support message threads.”

Reddit: I built a news aggregator called the I Ching Insight. “It’s an aggregator feed that tracks daily headlines based on I Ching hexagrams. It scans rss feeds relevant to the keywords and phrases for each of the 64 hexagrams. A new way of looking a current events and news.” A very interesting way to explore headlines and a creative take on RSS. I like this.

Cruftbox: Wireburst: RSS feeds in Discord, because email is the devil. “I am constantly in Discord. I’m there for my varied communities: gaming, beekeeping, smart home, Twitch DJs, etc. It’s already where I spend a lot of my online time. So I started wondering: could a Discord bot manage RSS feeds and push new items into channels? Organized by topic, one feed per channel, there when I want […]

Ci-en, DLsite's blog for creators, appears to have removed RSS feeds
Checking some creators on #DLsite's #Cien, I noticed RSShub Radar wasn't picking their #rssfeeds any longer. And investigating, there seem to be no mentions of RSS feeds on
view-source:, and also links I know that worked previously no longer seem to work, throwing a 404 error instead. The site is pretty simple so Ublock Origin and Violentmonkey can easily be used to hide posts, lowering the dependence on accessing there all the time and the potential addiction for doing so. But if it was a deliberated change and not just some sort of accident, for the sake of privacy, having an unified local feed controlled and curated by yourself, and gauging how bloated your online life is, it's a shame another site went the walled garden way.

EFF: Hate “The Algorithm?” RSS Is One of the Tools You’ve Been Looking For. ” In the age of enshittification, there is a push to reclaim our feeds and networks. Good news: there’s a tool that’s been around for decades that can help wrangle many of your feeds into something manageable: Really Simple Syndication, more commonly known as RSS.” Nice roundup but sadly they do not mention RSS Gizmos.

RPG Maker's new dedicated forum appears to have RSS feeds
Title, and tangential to: https://thebrainbin.org/m/[email protected]/t/1752486
The forum behaves a bit weird, so make sure to reload the page once or twice if using RSShub Radar so it can find the feeds.

Mark Nottingham: Web Feeds in 2026: A Survey. “In the top 500,000 web sites (per Tranco) seen by Common Crawl, the run analyzed 196,598 registrable sites and found 534,195 parseable feeds. 35.9% of sites exposed feed autodiscovery, and 19.7% of analyzed HTML responses had feed links. That’s huge – more than a third of sites advertising a feed is a big statement about the nature of the Open […]

Brent Simmons: NetNewsWire Status. “My hope for retirement was to get a lot of work done on NetNewsWire. A year ago it was in sore need of modernization, tech debt pay-off, and bug fixes. People were asking for features, but the foundation needed a ton of work before I could get on to adding new rooms. Here are some highlights of what we’ve done with 2,188 commits in the past year.”

Jeff Johnson: Reddit RSS feeds recent rate limiting and solution. “Overall, I subscribe to around 25 Reddit RSS feeds. This worked fairly well until yesterday afternoon. Suddenly, all of my Reddit RSS feeds started returning HTTP 429 Too Many Requests. The issue continued into this morning, and I found confirmation in a couple of Reddit posts.”
