@kdenlive We used Kdenlive for the #rsecon25 videos https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL27mQJy8eDHnot5jhJkFgBaIjqgE5zTn7 Being able to embed a timeline in another timeline was a really useful feature. Would like a way to make templates of layouts for doing video and slides side by side. I had to do some scripting work with the project files get layouts set up for each talk.

The recording of my "Let's Talk About Mental Health" talk from #RSECon25 is now online. The audio quality isn't great, but this is the full, extended discussion of what I've been up to on my @SoftwareSaved fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who came to my talk at #RSECon25, and all the others over the last few months. It's been amazing to hear all the kind words and to see all the support for better #MentalHealth in our community.

If you want to organise a women-to-men speed date for N/2 women and N/2 men, it's quite easy to write down all pairs of discussions. This gets much more complicated if you want to have an all-to-all setup, where everybody talks exactly once with everybody else.
This is the _RSE Coffee_ problem, proposed during #RSECon25 by Sam Tygier:

Is there an easier way to do this? I didn't dare asking GooglePT yet :)

The RCS team has had a fantastic week at #rsecon25 🎉
This year, RCS was proud to be a joint Gold Sponsor with the Bristol Centre for Supercomputing (BriCS) as part of the combined UK AI Research Resource (AIRR). We were honoured to give a talk introducing AIRR as Gold Sponsors of the conference, along with a workshop showcasing our Dawn AI system.
Several of our brilliant team members also took to the stage to share their expertise.
Our new Dawn lion mascots were a hit with delegates! 🦁
