#RPGStories #kickstarter is inching towards its first stretch goal, which includes retexturing objects I think.
So here's another game image! This is from an XCOM pastiche I ran. Here I used the software like an actual 3d battlemap on a big screen, but showing things from the characters' POV, or from POV of their scouting minidrones. Worked like gangbusters, will definitely use this method for similar games. #ttrpg

As long as the #RPGStories #kickstarter is going on, I think I'll be posting images of its use in our #ttrpg sessions here! (I'm not affiliated with the devs, I just find the software so useful I can't stop posting about it!)
This one is from my partner's D&D campaign! Some characters are made with #HeroForge.

GM: The cultists believe that being consumed by the creature will join them as one human within it. So, he's going to fling himself at the creature to try to meld with it. Are you going to do anything about it?
Maya: -shrug- It's their prerogative to be eaten by whatever they like. They're informed adults.
Maya: Though maybe I should tell them I'm going to murder the shit out of this creature in a bit. That's probably relevant information.

DM: You stun Gundaslavas. You have two turns before he can act again.
Me: I could do several plot relevant things here but Maya's been dying to do this for weeks. I punch him in the face. *several fate points later* He takes four shifts.
DM: That's a large consequence.
Me: He probably takes that as psychological damage.
DM: You're right. He's been "Outplayed by a pawn." Gundaslavas will remember that.

CW: campaign excerpt
"You're not imprisoned per se, but you are confined to your quarters for the duration of the stay."
"Ah, I'm going to persuade the guards to let me out."
"Uh, okay..."
"Would that be Rapport or Provoke?"
"Well, how are you going to do it?"
"I swear incoherently at them."
"...Provoke then. Difficulty +5"
