25) Unplayed RPG you own...

Woof. So many... spanning from Troika! to Kids on Bikes to the FATE system as a whole. But, I'm going to give a shout out to two of them.

For a slapdash rollicking good time I desperately want to play Fiasco. It looks and sounds amazing.

For a more traditional dive into rpging I would love a mini campaign of Genlab Alpha. Not at all because I put together some parallel design or anything before I knew it existed...

Coolest looking TTRPG book I have ever bought was the Adventurer's Guide to Theria by Jason Massey and Brianna Marie. They have crafted an amazing world and the book shows so many difference facets of it.

I'm a function over fashion guy, but I think this book does both wonderfully. DISCLAIMER: I got a special edition cover. The normal one looks really good as well though.

I don't play/run and I don't like old games. Because they're old and they're product of an old mindset. The hobby itself evolved through the years, and I'm happy with what it evolved into.

It's a beautiful boxed set... but I don't understand a bit of it. Free League said I could keep it ... in case I wanted to learn Swedish some day. #rpgaday23 #ForbiddenLands #sweden

First Game Purchased This Year: Forbidden Lands. I ended up with two copies: one in English ... and one in Swedish.

The Swedish one arrived first do to a shipping mishap. My family is Swedish - my grandfather and grandmother came to the US as teenagers - but they never taught my dad (or me) Swedish. #RPGaDay23 #ForbiddenLands

First Game Master: Vince Hendricks. There were other game masters before him, but Vince ran the first real, ongoing, sustained campaign I played in.

Vince was my first college room mate - a senior when I was a sophomore (I transferred in that year) and he introduced me to a ton of gamers in college. #rpgaday23 #dnd #campaigns

Day 11: The weirdest game I played was a dnd one-shot. We were a ship of heroes who seek a grand treasure in an island. During the ship travel, we fought against a giant sea monster. It ate my character, but somehow I managed to go through its stomach, survived the stomach acid, went through the bowel aaand... You know. Yeah, I got out.

Star Wars EotE. I love Star Wars and I love the Genesys System. But consistently I am the one running and pushing to run the system. I would absolutely love to flex my creative muscles as a player for once.

Erstkauf: Das #DungeonsandDragons Basic Set, aber nicht die Mentzer Red Box (1983), sondern die ca 8-10.Auflage der Holmes-Box, 1980, bereits mit B2 Keep on the Borderlands von #GaryGygax. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeons_%26_Dragons_Basic_Set#1977_version Gesehen im Schaufenster eines Spieleladens in Paris (va Schachspiele) und sofort gekauft. Auch Casus Belli begann da gerade erst: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casus_Belli_(magazine) AD&D1 konnte ich dann 1982 schon bei Macy's in New York kaufen. 1/3
