Oh my goodness. Just found my ggg-granddad John Usher Somner getting a #passport in 1851 so he could go to #Paris! He was then living in his home town of #Kelso, #Roxburghshire, #Scotland. Oh and his cousin Richard Somner Frier also got a passport at the same time. #Genealogy #FamilyHistory #Travel #France #Berwickshire
