Friday single #sculling on the Wear, marginal dawn conditions, enough light to be safe but I should probably have had lights on for the first fifteen minutes but they are still in a box at home for summer. Lovely cool conditions and not a soul on the river.

I forgot to start my watch so missing a couple of km warm up starting as we exited the pool.
A beautiful morning, cool but bright sunshine. After the session we spent a couple of hours blinging our blades, vinyl wrap rather than paint, just to see if we get better life out of it.

Friday #sculling on the Wear 4x Bluewater. Our usual weekday session in a warmer and very humid grey Friday morning. Solid improvement with a dramatic change in the exercise this morning and another 6 seconds off the course time. Next week I think we will be doubling the work, possibly after Monday as it's a long weekend here.

Monday morning #sculling on the Wear. Bright cool morning for our normal short weekday session. First morning I've had to resort to long sleeves although I was back down to a tee shirt for the piece.

Friday #sculling on the Wear. A cooler fresher morning on a cleaner river, first mist of the second half of the year. The rain during the week had brought the river back up to near ideal levels. The water no longer smells like it's been still too long. Still in Tee shirt and shorts but cool. No rowing or running this weekend as I'm off south of York for my wife's birthday. Swimming mostly although it looks a little cool.

Monday and a gentle recovery UT2 #sculling session. Cooler and grey but dry. No hard work, just focusing on taking the exercises we have been doing into the stroke.
