Overview The unincorporated community of Idaho is located within the west-central portion of Pike County, Ohio, along Route 124 at the southern terminus of Route 772 near Route 32 to the southeast. Today, the community is an extremely rural area, though within relatively close proximity to the urbanized corridors of Routes 104 and 23 to the east.

Overview The Village of Sinking Spring is located within Highland County, Ohio, locally along Routes 41 and 124 within the community. Today, the community is surrounded entirely by rural areas, with the Appalachian terrain creating difficulty for straightaways in the state highway system southeast of the City of Hillsboro.
