An Oranje display that I even as a supporter I hadn't dared hope for.

Ahead of time i feared a repeat of the Austria match, and the first 15' seemed to confirm that. Then the Dutch realized that the Romanians flooding their half left major gaps on the other end. Dangerous counters, even if not immediately threatening their goal spooked the Romanians and made them run back and forth.

The 0-1 soon after made it easier for Oranje to start playing, and oh my, we even had a working midfield, today.

The 0-2 came late, after several near misses, but when it did, it was sublime. The 0-3 was just icing on the cake, yet still didn't quite reflect the dominance on the pitch.
