Mes problèmes de #rotring sont résolus !

Avec une pointe 0.2 j'avais utilisé de l'encre acrylique. Tout avait bien fonctionné puis l'encre a séché.

J'ai donné plusieurs nettoyages ultrasons à la pointe et elle s'est bien débloquée. J'ai alors voulu utiliser de l'encre pour stylos plume, a priori plus fluide mais elle ne passait pas 🤔

J'ai redonné deux nettoyages de 15 min et enfin tout fonctionne !

Je vais enfin pouvoir me consacrer au dessin !

@jubalsmith In french alors ? C'est aussi ce que j'ai fait, j'ai ajouté une feuille de bristol sous ma feuille d'impression de ce côté là et ça a été. Mais... j'ai fait une autre impression avec un #Rotring 0.2 et là j'ai eu à un endroit un relief dans la plaque de métal et j'ai plié la pointe du rotring 🙄 Heureusement j'ai pu la redresser. Je pense réaliser une feuille test avec un quadrillage pour repérer les creux et les bosses dans le plateau métallique, pas top du coup #UUNATEK

Hoy en el #juevesdeestilograficas terminamos la saga “plumas que me regaló mi padre” con una a la que sí le di un cierto uso.

Es una Rotring Espirit telescópica (luego por maravillas del capitalismo y su fagocitación de empresas pasó a ser la Parker Espirit) que usé bastante en la carrera como complemento a la Lamy Safari, como se puede deducir por las marcas de uso del mecanismo telescópico. Recuerdo que era la que usaba cuando quería escribir con tinta negra porque siempre la tenía cargada con cartuchos de ese color.

Al ser telescópica se queda bastante compacta a la hora de transportarla pero cuando toca escribir vuelve a un tamaño normal. Es cómoda aunque a veces tendía a intentar plegarse mientras la usabas si no tenías cuidado.

Su mayor pega es que nunca encontré un convertidor adecuado y siempre la tenía que usar con cartuchos así que poco a poco la fui relegando al olvido, y más cuando descubrí las Kaweco Sport que pasaron a ser mis plumas pequeñas de cabecera.

De todas maneras es una pluma a la que le tengo bastante cariño y que muy de vez en cuando vuelvo a cargar para darle un poco de uso.

A few weekends back, I spent a day cleaning out this set of Rotring Rapidograph pens that I found in a charity shop years ago. My guess is that they are at least 80s, because the accompanying instructions in the box refer to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Anyway, I ordered some ink (from Germany of all places) and I'm very surprised to report that all of them still work. I need to get more proficient at refilling them though. There was ink everywhere.

Turns out that the Wavestate is better than the Nord Micro Modular for CS-80isms. Because HP/LP filter combos. In other news: spent all day cleaning a set of Rotring Rapidograph pens I found in a charity shop years ago. Ordered some ink to test them.

Now I'm making spag bol.

I wouldn’t call it a fountain pen but sort of fountain pen adjacent. It’s its own thing really, but I would put it in the category of technical pen. The nib works on a very different principle than an FP, for example people often doubt whether Pilot Parallel is a fountain pen but that still works on the same principles as most fountain pens, while the Tintenkuli has a different thing going on altogether. #rotring

As promised, the not-a-#FountainPen but fountain pen adjacent #Rotring Tintenkuli, a #vintage piston filler #TechnicalPen. I acquired this by “accident” in a lot of 10 piston filler pens in various states of disrepair. Luckily this one was only clogged and there was nothing mechanically wrong with it.

Definitely one of the more unique items in my collection. It was my first Rotring, and I got a second one weeks later, the ArtPen (:

It writes well with about an M line.

also a experiment of technical pen on watercolor paper (A5 sized)

I must not apply water on it otherwise it will feather a little bit like the plane below... Otherwise the result was better than I expected. I think I could use watercolor paper to do comic type of thing instead of the regular printing paper or the yellowish paper I was using previously.

Today I got some #oldschool #rOtring #micronorm #variant #pens for special #india #ink. These #technical #pen|s are all refurbished, cleaned and complete. Two of them I use everyday. No dripping, no leaking if you keep them inked up.
