I'm designing a 5.25" front for the Gotek floppy emulator that will go in my #GeminiMicrocomputers. It's vertical, has a #rotaryencoder, a 1.3" OLED display and a big fat red 5mm LED. I think it's going to look sort of period correct, if you disregard the presence of the OLED.

And yeah, this is a test run so dimensions are minimal and color is whatever was on the #Prusa #3dprinter.

Well, I couldn't leave it alone...

The Arduino code now allows triangle waves, up to 1.0MHz (same as square waves), and sine waves up to 12.5MHz.

Also managed to push my Owon VDS1022i to its limits... the sine wave started to look a bit ropey after 5.0MHz, but not bad until then.

Another #hardware project I've been procrastinating over was a programmable "knob" for computer input.
Thinking I'd need to write my own drivers, interface hardware, etc this stayed in the perpetual backlog.

I decided to try the @adafruit #RotaryTrinkey, and playing with the examples, I find Windows has native wheel support!

I now have a programmable "knob" for a whole £11.50 :D
