He'll also have included the #Rosgvardia in those figures which he keeps back in the #Moscow and #SaintPetersburg area - just to muddy the waters.
The #Rosgvardia are ~350k in size and are #Putin's personal army to protect him from his own people - #russians - in case of #revolution.
So the figure at the front is probably about ~255k, which unfortunately is still quarter of a million soldiers.
