28° Celsius outside but it feels hotter.
Tried to get some aluminium cans into the #recycle centre but it was chocka block full of people - some even had their Ute trays full of bags of cans!
#Alpacas & #sheep have had their water topped up & I emptied another pot in the garden.
It used to contain one of our #Roselle plants.
Inside, #electrolytes have been taken & I’m under the fan.

With the recent frosts my #Roselle & #JerusalemArtichoke plants are no more.
We do have loads of seeds from the Roselle, so we’ll do them again & we have a huge amount of chokes to eat. 👍
The only thing still going is my #PinkPanther #DragonFruit.

34° Celsius & I’m down.
I’ve been #hydrating all day, taking #electrolytes with some of my water, but I go outside, give the #alpacas & #lambs some lucerne, then water the #Roselle & #JerusalemArtichoke - the next minute liquids are #spewing (the operate word) out of my mouth & I lose all sense of balance.
Naked under the fan now, a bucket beside me if more liquid wants to rush up my throat.
Where’s our rain?! Mutter mutter #auspol #gardening

It’s a #tragedy!
Our first #Roselle #flower #fell!
It was discovered at the bottom of the Roselle pot after I’d fed the wooly ones.
I thought, “Google might know why!”
Nah. Too much Sun, not enough Sun. Too much water, too little water…
Tells you nothing really.
Although… it was very windy yesterday & after the storms the temperature dropped.

We would have posted earlier but we had a minor #emergency with #Chaser the #alpaca.
He got caught up in some fencing wire & we had to catch him to get him untangled.
Some arsehole threw the wire over into our back lot at some point & Chaser discovered it this morning.
Sigh.
He’s fine, but was a little freaked. He must have become tangled after I went to rest my knees.

My better half gave me a dip to try.
Knowing I’m not a huge dip fan, she said she’d eat what I couldn’t.
“Okay, I’ll give it a try”

I was very interested, being a fan of #roselle & all.
Fantastic! Very nice, not too much of any ingredient - I was pleasantly surprised.
#snack eaten with #Ritz #crackers.
The bowl the dip comes in looks like #SamianWare lol (#TimeTeam fans know what I mean) 😉
