Buon compleanno a Rosa Parks.

  12. #BlackHistory: On Dec. 5, 1955, the arrest of #RosaParks led to the Montgomery Bus Boycott, a critical period in the Civil Rights Movement. Before the historic boycott, she was a tireless NAACP supporter, and just 10 years prior was sent to Abbeville, AL to investigate the horrific gang r*pe of Recy Taylor who was attacked by 6 white men. They were never charged or indicted. Parks' activism extended beyond the common misconception she simply "refused to give up her seat to a white person."
