It's like Ruby on Rails all over again: a protyping tech that people are gonna take and build production systems with, creating mountains of legacy code.

Montanaro
Spettacolo storico che nasce dall’analisi documentaristica e saggistica della rivolta anarchica del 1877 nel matese. In uno scenario lontano da quello odierno, i versi sembrano raccontare lo specchio della società contemporanea. Il “sembrare”, legato a nomi, costumi e ambienti dell’epoca, decade quando a scendere in campo sono i bisogni e i diritti dell’essere umano e le condizioni di abuso e sopruso attuate dal “vertice”. Perché raccontare oggi i fatti di una ventina o poco più di giovani che non solo hanno operato in una condizione geografica sfavorevole, ma infine sono stati anche arrestati e processati? Perché diffondere le gesta di un fallimento? Perché non si tratta di fallimento, ma di un tentativo: agire fino in fondo un ideale. I “martelli”, metafora dell’azione, sono mossi dall’intento, i “cervelli”. Cervelli che hanno chiara la motivazione: le necessità dell’individuo. Coscienze diverse (studenti, stuccatori, fabbri, impiegati, negozianti) si uniscono a quella contadina forti di un credo condiviso, freccia di un solo grido: Rivoluzione! È questa la lotta. Raccontare, attraverso narrazione, musiche, canti e poesia, un “Esempio”, condiviso o meno fa lo stesso, un giudizio postumo alla conoscenza e tentare di risvegliare la condizione di sovranità del popolo.

Questo pamphlet è definito da Gadda stesso “libello psicanalitico, diviso tra arringa e memoriale narrativo”, un “atto di conoscenza” di quel Ventennio che ha soggiogato l’Italia segnando il prevalere “d’un cupo e scempio Eros sui motivi di Logos”. Eros è il dio dell’amore, Priapo è il simbolo dell’istinto sessuale e della forza generatrice maschile. Quando queste due deità si contrappongono generano mostri. Gadda parte dal fascismo, da lì si muove e inventa, interpreta, si insinua, scava, amplia e deforma nelle direzioni più varie, in vorticoso ribollire e gorgogliare. Pensando al Duce e alle sue qualità amatorie, alla “banda” dei gerarchi e soprattutto alle donne fasciste in particolare la dilatazione della sua furia non conosce limiti.
Per dare valore e forza a questa lava di parole e immagini, a questo fiume fangoso di invettive, ci è venuto naturale affidarle ad una creatura sotterranea che sembrasse provenire dai bassifondi di una città metropolitana e che avesse accumulata tutta la rabbia della propria miseria ed emarginazione, con le sembianze di una barbona che, dialogando con se stessa, snocciola contro il mondo, impavida, il suo lucido delirio.

I miss working with #RubyOnRails. That ecosystem solved and nailed so many clearly-we-will-need-this issues in simple, pragmatic and working way.
So whenever I’m forced to work on any other ecosystem I just have to sigh over all those half assed solutions or straight pretendance “nah not going to need this” by the surprised evolution in community of “oooh, so this can happen” and victorious “look what we invented!” only to get half of what #RoR had for years. -

.. allow for easier metadata curation and dissemination on different levels (author, journal, data aggregator). We tried to support this with our now finished @komet project (https://projects.tib.eu/komet/en/). Two outcomes are #ROR integration in OJS and structured citations (see a webinar with @gaziyucel on this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YX4y2k-eP_w )
