I realised I never post images here (laziness).
Here a shibari photo from 2010, with Lun Ário.
No lesson, no performance, just enjoying a very hot day in the interior south of Portugal..
It was a 2h 2alk from the camping. A dog followed us for company. The photo is a caption from sd footage. The dog was playing with the ropes at untying, have to yet look for that footage.
I am happy we were finished before the shepherd and sheep's showed up.
I don't think anybody has to see anything they did not agree to.

Besides my regular workshop for all levels (which becomes something like tailored teaching in a small group), I am teaching "I did my first rope suspension, and now what.."
I am collecting topics and wishes. What do you think needs covering. Wishes. Please comment or pm.
Based on my first person experiences when learning myself, or teaching people who just did their first suspensions, and based on people's wishes and suggestions.
I remember when starting to learn asking myself a lot "why would I even want to do that" and sometimes ppl not being able to answer. Sometimes I found the solution/s down the road, sometimes the solution was "traditiooooon" (as in fiddlers on the roof).
There will be things like safety, line management, leverage, pain management, the influence of angles, but mostly trying to conveys a general mindset. As "one can do this (ex. a transition) to get that, whith this trade off".

the sentence/question "this bondage tie works for the majority of body types"
I prefer to reframe / specify if one means the model or the rigger + model.
"works", for clarity, we can replace with: feels stable mechanically, needs or not pain management, reduces nerve or injury risk.
I suggest this for clarity, not for bitching.
I see a lot that sentence, and usually implies the model.
I am a small, feather weight, not physically strong person with back issues. I tie much bigger people. that sentence mostly well intended, usually doesn't include me and my constellation.
in my teaching since 2010 etc I very seldom I saw a tie that works for everybody: one always needs adaptations or completely new structures. the amount of variety - nerves, motoric conditions, weight distribution, pain sensitivity and location, flexibility (a lot, mid, none), skin, preferences, fear, muscle tone, etc..
and in that is where beauty lies.
