It's finally starting to feel like summer is ending here. The changing of the seasons has me thinking about this time last winter that we got about a foot of snow in a day so we decided to do some crazy snow rope on the balcony.

Y'all, I've got a good treat for you today. I'm in the process of organizing old content, which has led to me finding all these amazing gems that we've created over the years and this shoot was one of my faves of all time.
@Secondfloor and I took turns self-suspending from this abandoned ski lift pole we found in Park City in the summer of 2016.

It was much warmer yesterday than it had been for a while so we planned to do some “backyard rope” (which takes on a whole new meaning when your backyard is 105 acres).
The wind picked up right before sunset though so this tie ended up being much more torturous than intended strictly because of the cold so we kept it short and sweet but still got some great shots and it was a fun challenge. I was very happy that we were just minutes away from home once I was untied so I could get warm by the fire afterwards.
