While listening to #RootsRadio on the Murfreesboro/#Nashville @NPR station #WMOT I had a sense of déjà vu.
They were playing an Americana version of “People are Strange” by the band Dead South featuring banjo and mandolin.
The sense of déjà vu came from listening to a very different and jazzy not folksy cover of this Classic Rock song by The Doors 20 years ago. I also wrote about it then, which was also during a fund drive for the station. http://www.sitnews.us/MacDougall/051305_macdougall.html

Growing up in Canada 🇨🇦, the voice of #GordonLightfoot on the radio would stop me in my tracks to listen.
