I played two Root RPG quickstarts with people who work as civil servants in towns. And the problems that a clearing has, are on the same level as towns have. It really triggered something in them, and it seemed cathartic for them to be able to act as total outsiders, set things Right (for whatever definition of 'Right') and then leave again without having to worry you'd ever have to work with these NPCs again. 1/

Just ran #RootRPG in person for the first time. No prep, used the Hacksaw Dell quick start from Free RPG Day. It went really well and it was fun to see all the roguish feats in action.
