#MysteryMonday: Ever noticed this charming, ornate structure on #RooseveltIsland? Built in 1909, it was one of five kiosks that served as entrances to an underground trolley station in Manhattan. At the station, riders would board trolleys running over the Queensboro Bridge.

Triple bill in an intimate basement performance space, three spellbinding sets of guitar music from Liam Grant then Zachary Cale then Joseph Allred. Very different, but of kindred spirit. Soul-soothing all. Worth the voyage.

Emergency crews received 911 calls just before 6 a.m. Tuesday from residents on #RooseveltIsland saying they felt shaking and heard #smallexplosions from the Main Street area.
