Heute ist #Romaday!
Wir erinnern an die #Diskriminierung von Sinti* und Roma*.
Diese findet nicht nur auf individueller Ebene statt, sondern wird auch durch staatliche Strukturen (re)produziert. So werden Sinti* und Roma* z.B. häufig durch unverhältnismäßige polizeiliche Maßnahmen kriminalisiert.
Zudem werden antiziganistische Motive bei Straftaten kaum erkannt, geschweige denn konsequent verfolgt.
Ein Widerspruch zu den Menschenrechten!

Heute ist internationaler #Romaday -
für Anerkennung und gleiche RechteIm #Nationalsozialismus wurden Hunderttausende Sinti* und Roma* ermordet. Ihr #Genozid wurde lange übergangen – in der #Geschichtsschreibung und #Erinnerungskultur. Bis heute kämpfen viele um Sichtbarkeit und Gerechtigkeit.
