- Soundblaster 64Direct capture from VGA and Audio! The "snow" at the start is also visible on my monitor. Maybe an incompatibility with my VGA?
(I promise this isn't a MT32 account now. I was testing my new capture setup and it came out beautifully. I hope you'll all enjoy!)

I just received a ClumsyMIDI Pi Hat I've setup with a Raspberry Pi 3 and the MT32-Pi software, to use with my Atari 520ST. Giving Ultima IV a listen.
$49 from Tindie. Good so far!

1990 waren die Pixel der Bitmap Raumschiffe in Wing Commander noch groß wie Bauklötze. Ich finde aber sie haben aber nach wie vor noch eine ganz eigene Ästhetik. If you have a #RolandMT32 connected over a midi interface to your system and you want to use it in #ScummVM and it somehow works in some games but not others, the secret ingredient is to *also* select it as preferred device in the "sound" tab in the settings. The MIDI and MT-32 tabs are also needed but don't always do enough for all the games to pick it up.

Another sound card—or rather sound module—is the WP32 McCake. It is a variant of the #mt32pi based on the Raspberry Pi CM4 and the MUNT emulator. It emulates the iconic Roland MT-32 sound module, which was supported by many games. The McCake is actually a Waveblaster compatible module, so you plug it onto a sound card such as the SoundBlaster 16. It can also be used as a General MIDI synth, supporting soundfonts.

Zeit für ein paar Sierra Games um das Midi Monster von der Kette zu lassen 😃Der/das MT-32 ist derzeit die einzige wirklich bezahlbare Möglichkeit für Roland Sound von Echthardware.
