A strange flight above a strange place, in strange winds and through strange clouds - but the views were magnificent. Planina polje (karst field) was semi-flooded again, and as beautiful as ever.

A kite with a camera caught a rainbow above Ljubljana Marshes, but got almost caught by a storm: how we reeled in 300 meters of line in a world record's time :-)

Sometimes a kite aerial photo seems dull ... Wrong camera settings? Lack of post-processing skills? Is it the old adage - dull weather, dull photos?

Perhaps.

But, at least to us, the real question is - is there really such a thing as a "dull" kite aerial photo? 😉

So many monumental, public, and industrial buildings of Ljubljana are built of bricks from Tönnies' brickworks of Koseze. Today only a pond - Koseški bajer remains of them. We flew our kites over this suburban oasis, and discover its rich history.
