Ein Fahrrad, 26 Länder und jede Menge Kaffee

Das Buch lese ich jetzt zum dritten mal. Sehr inspirierend wie er sich aus seinem immer gleichen Alltag befreit und naiv ins Abenteuer stürzt. Sehr unterhaltsam ;-)

Second E-14 shifter unit to fail for me. First went dead at 22.000 kms and this one made it to 29.500 km.

The hubs are world-class but the electronics fail. Not really a fan of these E-14's.

Projekt "#Speedhub 20" beinahe vollendet. Ölwechsel bei der #Getriebenabe ist nun auch durchgeführt. Dafür kam nochmals Bremse entlüften auf die Liste und ein wenig Kosmetik.

Ziele:
- #Getriebenabe polieren ✅
- 20''-Rad aufbauen ✅
- In #Liegerad einbauen ✅
- Bremsen entlüftet ✅
- #Ölwechsel #rohloff ✅
- nochmals hintere Bremse entlüften
- Hinteres Schutzblech richten

Unerwartete Challenge beim Einbau der #speedhub 20'' ins Liegerad - wie Entlüftet man nochmals eine Magura Julie aus dem Jahre 2007 und vor allem!!!!!! Wo habe ich noch Bremsbeläge für diese Bremsen????

Aber es ist vollbracht!!!!

Ein Satz Bremsbeläge waren noch im Keller versteckt.

Langsam Schritt für Schritt nimmt das 20''-Rad Form an. Die #rohloff ist eingespeichet. Nun muss ich sie nur noch sauber spannen. Die Nabe glänzt nicht ganz wie eine neue #speedhub. Aber sie hat auch 20+ Jahre ganzjähriges #Alltagsradeln hinter sich.

Da mir mit dem Ölwechsel dieses Jahr der Vorrat an Öl für meinen #Speedhub ausgegangen ist, habe ich nach Ersatz geschaut.
#Rohloff hat die #Spezifikation der Ölmengen geändert. Statt 25ml (Schmier-)Öl sind es jetzt nur 12,5ml, die Menge an Spülöl bleibt gleich bei 25ml.
Dementsprechend ist bei den Ölwechselsets im Angebot nur noch die Hälfte des Öl in der Schmierölflasche. In der Spülölmenge ist die gleiche wie früher, der Preis bei weniger Öl ist auch der gleiche.
