This year I decided I wanted to try and knock a few games off my backlog.
It wasn't particularly successful, but I did get a few pretty great games finished with the help of my Legion Go.
I don't really do Games of the Year because I generally don't play enough of the big games at the time they come out to have that sort of recency to make a decision.
I do have a favourite game I played - but it wasn't one that released this year - or even this decade! Disco Elysium was such a great journey, with a lovely mix of very cool graphics, gameplay loop, and a bat shit crazy story.
Honourable mentions to Rogue Legacy, which I played a lot of way back in the PS Vita era but never got around to finishing until this year, and to Arcade Paradise which was a very cool experience.
I'm surprised I played Cricket 24 as much as I did but the numbers don't lie 😅

Have got into #RogueLegacy a decade after it was released. #MacGaming.

Another game off the #PileOfShame today - #RogueLegacy! Played entirely on my #LenovoLegionGo, and ran pretty flawlessly on the lowest TDP option.
One thing I'd say though for #LinuxGamers - the native version sucks - use the Windows version with #Proton. The Windows version gives you better customisation options incl resolution, includes a fan made mod should you wish to keep playing, and solves issues (at least I had them) where Steam Input didn't work and the controllers randomly dropped.

Pues después de 18h creo que ya he tenido #RogueLegacy suficiente. Me quedan monstruos por eliminar y gemas por desbloquear pero, lo que es el sistema de juego y progresión, ya no da más de sí y echarle más horas va a ser puro grindeo.
El juego está muy bien y, aunque ya han salido cosas mucho más refinadas, sigue aguantando el paso del tiempo. Ahora vamos con el 2.
