Roger Donaldson – „Thirteen Days“ (2000)Dieser Film ist heute vielleicht nur noch schwer zu vermitteln. Und das nicht nur, weil die Sowjetunion schon länger tot ist, als Fidel Castro, sondern vor allem, weil da kein JFK mehr im Weißen Haus residiert, sondern eben Donald Trump. Und was diesem noch einfallen wird, um die drohende Wahlniederlage im November abzuwenden, vermag ich nicht vorherzusagen. Kuba jedenfalls, ist quasi als nächstes Ziel prädestiniert, um von dem Debakel das diese Administration für die U.S.A. und die Welt ist, abzulenken. (3Sat, Wh.)

Released in January 1994, by #CapitolRecords, as the first single from his fourth album, #PaidVacation (1994), the song became a top-10 hit in the United States, Canada, and Norway. It was also used in the 1994 film #TheGetaway, starring #KimBasinger and #AlecBaldwin, and directed by #RogerDonaldson.
