About a decade ago I tried to get into the Rocketbook smart notebook thing.
I've dug the notebook out, and the pens (they still work!).
I still can't find a use case, and it's still a lousy system.
I can scan & save a paper notebook page without special paper & pens - but I don't know why I'd want to.Maybe I'm just not the right type of consumer again.

Nekonečný blok, kam si uděláte poznámky, a když jich je moc a nebo jen děláte úklid, tak si je přes appku v mobilu zaarchivujete, umyjete a máte zase nový blok.
A nebo máte jiné workflow a poznámky si chcete dávat do OneNote či Evernote? No problem, stačí použít jinou ze 7 předvoleb pro destinace a pošlete si to rovnou tam.

Ok, so I'm curious to try out a reusable notebook, so I ordered a Rocketbook!
I do time blocking everyday and take notes. I regularly scan my notes into PDF and then recycle the paper. I feel bad about using that much paper, honestly.
So I'll give Rocketbook a try!

@Big_Diggity I had totally forgotten about this, but I had previously setup Paperless-ngx. It has OCR on the backend, is deployable in Docker, Open source, and has a mobile app options. One can use it with any paper documents, notebooks washable/or not.
I am not sure how you are using Nextcloud, but you might look into Paperless-ngx.

Well, the Beta client for Rocketbook now has Nextcloud integration.
Between this knowledge and the fact that I got a handful of Rocketbook pens from the vendor that did our training yesterday I see myself using my Rocketbook far more often now.

So, a little help with a #IFTTT #applet would be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to setup a new applet to put my #RocketBook pages into new documents in my #Notion Workspace.
The way I currently have it setup (because there isn't a direct integration from RB to Notion) is the following:
1) Import my RB pages into #GoogleDrive (OCRed, so the text is copypasta-able).
2) Have an applet that monitors the folder in my Drive that RB uploads to (both the OCRed .docx and PDF).

#rocketbook und #onenote und Datenschutz.
Bei der diesjährigen #emacs Conf gab es auch einen Talk zur Integration von hangeschriebenen Notizen in #orgmode .
Da würde sich das hier rumliegende Rocketbook oder das Businesstelefon samt OneNote App für die beruflichen Tätigkeiten eigentlich prima eigenen, um per Texterkennung die Daten nachträglich digital zu verwenden.
Allerdings landet OCR technisch alles erst mal in den USA und es gibt wenig Infos über die Aufbewahrung der Daten....

Do anyone know of cheaper #alternative #pens to the #FriXion for the #rocketbook?
I use 0.5 as tip, those are the ones that last the most, or at least.. that is what I saw in a video in which all tips have been tested :)
