Tonight’s “live” selection on the eve of Sir Paul McCartney’s 82nd birthday: a few years before Bob Geldof’s star-studded “Band Aid” fundraising effort for people in Africa and the “We Are The World” effort a couple years after that was the “Concert For The People Of Kampuchea” (Cambodia) that Paul put together with then UN secretary general Kurt Waldheim and featured the likes of The Who, Robert Plant and sooooo many more.
