Ran a short rope protection and security course for some hill walking and scrambling friends of mine today. Included improvised harnesses, Italian hitch, clove hitch, assisted hoist, anchors, rappelling, classic belay, belays, prusicks, basic rescue and more. Hopefully everyone came away more confident about having to deal with an emergency situation. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and laughs in the strong winds.

#BeanFest has a five piece band, a campfire and a big potluck going out in the mountains at a popular climbing area. This is a twice a year event, totally grassroots organized. Bunch of goofball #RockClimbers partying in the woods. What could go wrong?
