I just watched the movie "Rock & Rule". I originally bought it because I wanted more "old, gritty, 'dirty' animated movies like "Heavy Metal" and "Fire & Ice".
I did not realize it actually is an anthropomorphic animal movie, because the two characters shown most, Mok and Angel, look very human compared to the others. So, certainly not designed by a Furry.^^
But anyway:
I liked the movie. Really cool songs and a lovely synthesized and keyboard score by Patricia Cullen.
The world is very dark, dirty and dystopian, yet the character designs are quite bright and add a typical cartoonish comedy to it. A strange mix, but it worked for me.
The animations are nice and some effects were done with actual city models and cameras, that's really impressive.
