Nice presentation of the ownership of #music #festivals [1]. Only 4 big companies are responsible for about 150 music festivals in multiple countries. Including #wacken #rockamring #rockimpark #splash! #heros #thunderdome #meraluna ... Now think of smaller #local #bands which want to be part of their local #festival. What do you think happens, when a small band writes an application for one of these festivals? I have been there and words like pay to play, ticket presale come to my mind. I do not think (next to efficiency) that this results a broad cultural development. #IMHO

TIL #RockAmRing bietet Ratenzahlung für Tickets 2026 an. Komplett gestört. Macht’s doch alles kaputt. Genauso wie Eisdielen und Dönerläden. Melken bis es implodiert. Viele können es nicht mehr bezahlen, ich will einfach nicht mehr.
