  1. Moving to a new house in a month and think about setting up a #PLEX server and #NAS using the #ARM #rock5 itx Seams like a fun way to start using Linux again. Anyone have experience with this board especially on #openSUSE ?

  2. 🤔 Oh, the thrilling saga of cramming #UEFI into an #ARM #SBC - because we all need another way to overcomplicate our tech lives! 🙄 The Rock 5 ITX: a superhero in a #MiniITX cape that nobody asked for, but at least it supports #PoE for all those times you want to power your board over Ethernet... which is never. 🚀

  3. @gyptazy this is really tempting. I’m planning to move my matrix server to the cloud from my onprem server and maybe I’ll try to host my mail again… I tried it once, but the underling infra was not really reliable, so I lost a lot email, including a job offer 🙃
Definitely the status page (#UptimeKuma) (for #Tutter #Blintflix and my other not so important pet projects) could move from my #Rock5 in my bookshelf to the cloud.
    And $10/mo is super generous!

Radxa continues to expand the ROCK 5 line of single-board computers powered by Rockchip RK3588 processors. The new ROCK 5T is a 110 x 82mm (4.3″ x 3.2″) board that’s a little larger than the original ROCK 5, but it packs a bunch of additional features while still taking up less space than the ROCK 5 ITX.

Available now from AliExpress or Arace for around $115 and up, the ROCK 5T supports up […]

  5. Radxa ROCK 5 ITX is now available (ITX motherboard with RK3588 processor and LPDDR5 memory)

The Radxa ROCK 5 ITX takes the guts of the Radxa ROCK 5 line of single-board computers and puts them on a slightly larger board with faster memory and support for up to four SATA drives.
First announced in March, the ROCK 5 ITX is a 170 x 170mm (6.7″ x 6.7″) motherboard that should fit in any standard case designed for ITX boards and work with any […]

Check out #SpaceHost if you are less tech savvy. I'm trying to figure out how to #SelfHost a #Calckey instance on a #Rock5 8gb #SBC #ArtFed

Hopefully mine will be mobile and off-grid.

    I'm adding a #Gemini capsule and possibly #SolarProtocol too.

  9. It's so easy to have toxic brain. I keep on reading in the #radxa #rock5 forums and all these innocent folks coming from rpi space keep on just posting questions "Can I......"

And I just want to instantly reply "No."
