Looks like I caught the robo-mower wave about 4 years too early. The technology has matured quite a bit since I bought my #husqvarna #automower in 2022. The latest models have LIDAR and virtual boundaries driven by GPS. The absolute worst part of the whole experience is installing and maintaining the stupid boundary wire. If you're thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these, avoid the models with a wire at all costs!
