Letzte Woche wurde auf der #A40 zwischen Essen und Mülheim neuer, sogenannter 'Flüsterasphalt' aufgebracht. Dazu war die Hauptschlagader des Ruhrgebiets für 1 Woche gesperrt. Plötzlich war die #Stille laut wahrnehmbar!
Jetzt rollt der Verkehr wieder. Allerdings leiser. Auf diesem Foto vom 29.07. war es jedoch noch 'nicht fertig!' #fotovorschlag

A lot of this was cleaned up after they replaced our gas meter and made sure everything was hooked up correctly. That’s nice and all, but I really want my street back. Preferably repaved. The potholes are lethal.

The father of one of my coworkers works at MnDOT (in construction and snow removal, not an office job), and apparently there have been a surprising number of asshats this summer who have tried to move construction cones because the Google map says they need to drive there. How stupid or entitled do you have to be to think that some construction zones do not apply to you and you alone? Morons.
