Ob ein #Speicherstick als Speicherstick oder als Festplatte erkannt wird, liegt am:

Und das ist mit normalen Mitteln nur lesbar. Das heißt: Der Hersteller des Sticks entscheidet, wie sich das Ding beim System vorstellt. Und das System entscheidet dann, was es mit der Information macht.
Und #Hyundai entscheidet, dass es Sticks ohne RMB erst gar nicht zur Kenntnis nimmt für Updates für das Auto. Und Sticks, die größer sind als 32 GB, dann trotzdem noch für Festplatten hält und noch mal warnt, ob man die nun wirklich beschreiben will.
Weil: *TADAA*: Das Update wird nicht "normal" auf den Stick geschrieben, sondern der Stick wird mit dem Update formatiert. Genauer: nicht der Stick, sondern die Partition. Die Partitionstabelle bleibt also erhalten.
Unter Linux kann man das Bit mit den sg3-utils auslesen:
# sg_inq /dev/sda
... RMB=1 ...Vor den Tools, die das RMB angeblich ändern können, will ich ausdrücklich warnen. Das erfordert eine Änderung der Firmware und die ist nicht standardisiert. Das Risiko, das Teil zu "bricken" ist hoch.
Ob der Stick dann vom System erkannt wird, liegt dann auch noch an den Markierungen der Partition. Ohne #msftdata wird es unter Windows wohl eher nicht funktionieren. Anders herum gesagt: Wenn man damit herumspielt, kann man Partitionen vor dem System verstecken.

Słabnie kurs RMB
Choć wydaje się, że LBCh prowadzi działania mające osłabić trochę RMB i zwiększyć opłacalność chińskiego eksportu, to jednak jest to możliwe przez wysokie stopy procentowe w USA, które wpływają na umacnianie się USD.

It's one thing to mean "the RMB may become the #3 reserve currency to replace the pound/yen/Swiss franc/etc." That's plausible. It's entirely different to talk of the #RMB replacing the #dollar or #Euro. That's simply a category mistake right now. Maybe things will look different in decades. But the conditions for a "bipolar" USD/RMB "currency regime" simply do not exist, either economically or politically, now or for the foreseeable future.
