Number one reason why i moved from #docker to #podman long ago is its ability to run contrainers in user namespaces. Today i rolled out the --userns=auto feature on all my containers. It dynamically allocates a separate user namespace for every container you run.
This is something i have been waiting for since 2015 when i first red about it on the #rkt issue tracker
