“Honestly Izzy that's enough of that, please do take a serving of the stew, it's delicious.”
“The bet said one week, Bonnet. This is just the second day” Izzy answered with ferocity, crumbs of hardtack falling out of his mouth.
“If this were any close to a fucking real pirate ship, that shit would be at least half of what you eat” he muttered loud enough to be heard by the whole crew gathered in the galley even though the Swede was loudly dealing with a severe case of hiccups. Those who were still listening to Izzy with amusement or slight pity groaned and rolled their eyes.
Something was not right with the hardtack though, Ed noticed as the conversation switched to arguing about which hand The Swede should drink from for better effectiveness in his condition. The color was unusual and it had weird grainy bits in it.
It seemed strange that Izzy had not noticed either but his palate has always been shit and Ed just didn't want to deal with the regurgitated version if the biscuits had indeed gone wrong. He stole one of those from Izzy's plate when everyone was looking away and cracked a small piece in his mouth.
Then he froze in surprise.
Noticing the thievery, Izzy stiffened in his seat to stare at Ed in slight horror.
He wasn't the only one to react. Behind the counter the cook had stopped cleaning his space and was staring at Ed with disturbing intensity, as if challenging him to say something.
Maintaining eye contact, Ed put the rest of the delicacy that was most definitely only pretending to be hardtack in his mouth, holding back a smile and a reluctant feeling of respect for the cook. When his mouth wasn't so full anymore he raised his voice above the others to argue for the obvious superiority of holding the glass with both hands, the right on top all while holding both pinkies up.

Three of the polls had only 6 percentage points between the winning and the losing ship. #Stizzy lost to #Rizzy, #SteakHands lost to Izzy/Ed/CJ/Hornigold and Izzy/Fang/Frenchie lost to Izzy/Fang/Ivan/Roach.
The biggest landslide of votes was for #SteddyHands, against #EdIzzy that got only 27% of the votes.
