  1. #RiversideParkNYC or #nycparks or #NaturalAreasConservancy has been really busy in a good way (IMHO) in the area downhill from Grant's Tomb and just north of the 119th Street Tennis Courts. Forestry has been here and cut down trees which were not needed and would have allowed goats to escape.

    Also note the addition of coir logs which prevent water from cascading down the hillside.

    I don't know why some of the cuts on the trunks have been painted.
