Yr Hen Bont / The Old Bridge. Built in 1425 to link the Oldcastle to the Newcastle over the River Ogmore. Oldcastle still exists as an area and castle, but bizarrely Newcastle was demolished and the area is now part of Bridgend town centre. #Penybont #Bridgend #RiverOgmore #WelshHistory #MarketTown
