@sigh_d There is no cure for MS, so I will likely be on some form or other of treatment for the rest of my life. If this one keeps me from relapsing then maybe this one. Since #rituximab is killing off part of my immune system, if it works I’ll probably be able to drop it to once a year or so, though.

Infusion for #MultipleSclerosis is officially done! And this time I got smart and took a couple days off so I don’t wind up in urgent care again. Woohoo!!! No more treatments for six months. Just an MRI and neuro appointment between treatments. #rituximab #FuckMS #rituxan

I have my twice yearly #rituximab infusion for MS tomorrow. I’ve loaded up on snacks and I’m gonna charge my Switch, grab a book and download some tv. I’m lowkey stressed about it. Writing codes at the Co-Op backwards and shit.
Last 2x I ended up in urgent care because the directions about getting checked out for issues after infusion are pretty scary. Here’s to me knowing what to expect and not having issues this time! #rituxan #pwms #fuckMS -

I think a lot of this stress is coming from the fact that I have so much going on later this month, too. It’s my #rituximab infusion month so everything has this surreal and moderately terrifying sheen to it. Last time I had my infusion I ended up in urgent care within a few days.

Ich habe mal eine Frage an die neurologischen Kollegen hier in der Runde:
Problem bei Einsatz von Ocrelizumab im Rahmen einer sekundär progredienten MS (SPMS) ist, dass eine klinisch und radiologisch nicht-aktive SPMS eine „off label“-Indikation wäre, in den Leitlinie der Einsatz aber in Analogie zur primär progredienten MS (PPMS) im Einzelfall in Betracht gezogen werden kann, jeden ausdrücklich ohne jede Evidenz.
