  1. I miss #RiteAid

The longest my #adhd #rx was ever on back-order with them was...2 days?

I'm now with #CVS and every other month it's anywhere from 1-10 days.

The fact that different retail outlets have different supplies, really speaks to this being a #capitalism problem, not some supply chain/FDA regulation thing

  2. Wait, this story is wild. A tenacious mall cop realized his store was dealing with no ordinary shoplifters. He put in solid detective work and tracked down his store's stolen goods still in Rite-Aid branded packages on the shelves of a fencing operation near by. This led to a Seattle cop who owned the fencing operation and frequently worked there sorting and selling stolen goods while he was supposed to be on duty 😳

It didn't occur to me until I am really getting sick of the rigmarole with the pharmacy. Now I understand. Schoolhouse Rock taught me about Knowledge is Power!
If you are prescribed a "controlled" rx, such as #Adderall please be aware.

They're jacking the prices up and THEN giving "discount."

  5. #Congress finds #pharmacies give patient records to #lawenforcement without warrants
Sen. #RonWyden urged the Biden administration to revise #HIPAA rules to better guard #Americans’ pharmaceutical records from #warrantless law enforcement requests.
    Researchers looked at #CVS; #Walgreens; #Cigna; #OptumRx; #Walmart; #Kroger; #RiteAid; and #Amazon #Pharmacy; None of the eight require a warrant prior to sharing #patientrecords.

  6. "Three chains (#CVS, #Kroger, and #RiteAid) all told Congress they don’t even do a legal review of the #subpoenas handed to them by #government agencies. Instead, they apparently #assume that if the government’s name is on it, it must be a #valid request." - #Techdirt
