"We're All Alone" is a song written by #BozScaggs, which became a hit for #FrankieValli in 1976. The next year it was a top-ten hit for #RitaCoolidge in the US and the UK. Scaggs introduced it on his 1976 album #SilkDegrees, and included it as the #Bside of two of the four single releases from that LP, including "#LidoShuffle".

"Layla" is a song written by #EricClapton and #JimGordon, originally recorded with their band #DerekAndTheDominos, as the thirteenth track from their only studio album, #LaylaAndOtherAssortedLoveSongs (1970). Its contrasting #movements were composed separately by Clapton and Gordon. The piano part has also been controversially credited to #RitaCoolidge, Gordon's girlfriend at the time.

A quality deep track from Neil Young’s ‘After the Gold Rush’ album became a quality cover by Linda Ronstadt. It was released on her album, ‘Don’t Cry Now’ 50 years ago today.
