I've been getting recycler for the past couple runs and I realized I had completely forgotten how exhilarating it is to see bison steaks turn into crit glasses and genesis loops into shatterspleens

Finally beat a run on Risk of Rain 2! I know there’s more to explore since the wiki has some side quest info, but it felt good to finish a run.
I think next time I want to see about artifacts and maybe learn more about looping. Eventually I’ll get into DLCs but for now, I have enough to explore.

to my dismay I learned that completing survivor challenges as heretic does NOT actually count (the commando m2 challenge in my case)
had my first heretic run and holy broken, I annihilated voidling (and mithrix + false son) in like 4 minutes w/swarm artifact

it's insane how solus wing from dlc3 is kind of the only major boss I ALWAYS want to fight, as the battle is not a slog, the unique mechanics are a ton of fun, you don't have to be on a god run to win, and of course because the music is actually insane
I'm scared of wtf they're gonna cook up for dlc4 at this rate, alloyed collective really was impressive to me especially after the mixed bag that sots was

I think I gaslit myself into thinking bandit's blast and lights out weren't as good as their alternatives
I just tried them out after ages for a change, and for one I forgot lights out doesn't just refresh the special cooldown on kill, but ALL cooldowns
as for blast, I always dunked on it cause haha 4 pellets >>>>> 1 pellet, but as it turns out one pellet that actually fires straight is BIG, you can actually kill things from afar without relying on your special, and the damage isn't half bad
also I had generally forgotten the sheer style of shooting down like 10 wisps in a row with a revolver, doing air combos by using smokebomb and proc'ing lights out, etc
